Focused Advocacy for Wildfire Survivors
Scott Maynor is the founder of The Maynor Law Firm, APC, where his practice is dedicated to representing homeowners, renters, and business owners impacted by catastrophic wildfires. Scott’s commitment to wildfire litigation is deeply personal. Several years ago, his parents lost their home to a fire and faced the same challenges many wildfire survivors encounter — uncertainty, insurance delays, and a long, exhausting rebuild process. Seeing firsthand how isolating and overwhelming recovery can be shaped Scott’s belief that survivors deserve clear guidance, accountability, and an advocate who will stand with them throughout the process. With more than a decade of legal experience, Scott focuses on holding utilities and other responsible entities accountable when preventable risks are ignored and profits are placed ahead of public safety. He has represented clients in major wildfire matters, including the Marshall Fire and the 2020 Oregon Labor Day Fires, and has worked alongside some of the nation’s leading wildfire attorneys on cases arising from the Thomas Fire, Woolsey Fire, Dixie Fire, and the Lahaina fires. Those collective efforts have resulted in the recovery of millions of dollars for affected families and businesses. Scott is known for his hands-on, attorney-driven approach, ensuring clients have direct access, clear communication, and steady advocacy from intake through resolution.
